CENTRAL COLLEGE AND JUG STREET
Starting on March 11, 2024, the portion of Central College and Jug Street between US-62 and Beech Road will be closed to through traffic for additional three weeks to facilitate the installation of water main infrastructure for the 2023 Water Distribution System Improvements project. Residents living within this corridor will have access maintained to their properties at all times. The road is open to mail/parcel deliveries, trash pickups and all essential services. Appropriate detour signings have been posted to assist with navigating the areas around the closure.
TORNADO CONFIRMED IN JERSEY...LICKING COUNTY OHIO
The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio has confirmed a tornado occurred in Jersey in Licking County, Ohio earlier this morning. The survey continues this morning and may include reported damage in Franklin County, Ohio near the Blacklick area.

Notice of Jersey Revitalization District Application
The Board of Trustees of Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio has received an application to establish a revitalization district (the "Jersey Township Revitalization District"), generally in the areas located along the major corridors of the township, being Mink Road (north of Worthington Road), SR310, Worthington Road, and Morse Road. A copy of the Jersey Township Revitalization District application is on file and is available for public inspection in the office of the Township Fiscal Officer, at the Jersey Township Administration Building, 1481 Mink Road, Pataskala, Ohio, during normal business hours, pursuant to O.R.C. §4301.81

On January 21, 2022, Intel announced that it has selected the Licking County portion of the New Albany International Business Park as the location for a $20 billion+ chip manufacturing project. The company plans to build two state-of-the-art factories by 2025.
